Number Three Hundred

We are so excited to be writing our 300th post! 300 of anything seems daunting, but each one of these posts is filled with joy and creativity. For our 100th and 200th posts, we compiled 100 images and videos for each of them. This time, we've chosen a different variation on the number 300 and compiled 30 of our favorite posts from the past year and a half. We hope you guys enjoy the posts we've selected and our many posts to come! Thank you for your support and appreciation- we'd be nothing without you.

And That's A Wrap

As Stef mentioned, though The Chic Classmate has been on a little break, our lives definitely have not been.  This past semester has taught me more about life and love than I ever thought possible, and I cannot believe it has come to an end. It was truly a semester of transitions and exploration - from living in my first apartment, meeting people and making decisions that will change my life forever, and spending nights with my friends that I will never forget - it was definitely one for the books.

With my birthday, a ski trip, the New Year and a trip to Miami all ahead of me, it really will be a time of new beginnings and I cannot wait to share them all with you!

Endings & Beginnings

I apologize for the blogging hiatus, as I'm just finishing what has been the best semester of college yet. Between an amazing job, interesting classes, and spending time with extraordinary friends- it is hard to imagine that life could get any better. Honestly. And this makes it that much harder that in the next two days, I will have to pack my room up and into my car as I head home. I will be home until February 3rd (with the exception of a visit to Ft. Lauderdale and a Carribbean cruise!) when I head to Madrid, where I'll spend the next four months.

This next 48 hours, and probably a while after that, will be difficult. It's never easy to say good bye to the ones we care about, especially for such a long time. There is something unfathomable about not seeing these same faces every day. But when I get sad, I realize that I am so beyond excited for what's to come- time spent with family relaxing and recharging and then four months exploring Spain and the rest of Europe.

I'm excited to be blogging again, sharing my experiences and inspirations as I open a new chapter of my life.

Paper Source

As I was searching for stationary that expressed my personal style for thank you's and simple notes, I could not simply settle for ordinary paper - I needed a selection that could represent me as a person.  Somehow I (luckily) stumbled up Brittany Fuson Paper, which happens to now be my go-to source for all my prints, paper, and notecards.  Each chic collection highlights a different personality trait or hobby with a stylish yet subtle design.

A Weekly Menu

This school year has been exciting, busy, and overwhelming all at the same time - while the days seem to be never ending.  As I was envisioning and planning my year, I pictured my 5 roommates and I using our beautiful new kitchen to have nightly dinners to catch up and unwind from the day, which I hate to say has not happened a single time.  Take-out and eating on the run has become our go-to as we are never home at the same time or rushing to our next meetings and classes. Starting this week, I am vowing to have at least a weekly meal with all of my roommates where we prepare it together and take a break from our busy days. Below are a few meals that I would love to try.

Falling for Tory

With the Fall weather officially setting in, every girl on campus has suddenly switched from shorts and flip flops to leather boots and scarves - all in the matter of a week. Any single piece from Tory Burch's Fall 2012 collection makes for the perfect addition to a collegiate Fall wardrobe (and some of the pieces are definitely worth the splurge!)
